French government to raise ‘terror tax’ on insurance policies amid spike in deadly attacks
 

French president Francois Hollande told terror victims and their families last week his government would do more to help them ‘heal’ from their wounds morally, physically and also financially. 
Speaking during a ceremony in Paris held in memory of all the victims of French terror attacks, Mr Hollande said that as a result of the rise in deadly ISIS attacks more money would be allocated to the government-run Guarantee Fund for Victims of Terrorist and Other Criminal Acts (FGTI).
