Before the beginning of this season, Alex Jones had never sunk his teeth into a professional fixture – but he’s now scored six goals from seven shots for Port Vale.
Jones joined the Valiants on loan from Birmingham City in mid-August with first team opportunities under Gary Rowett limited and he’s enjoyed a remarkable start to life in the Potteries.
