Frankie Valli tribute singer Robin Maughan has jail term cut to 12 years for sex offences



A singer and entertainer jailed for almost 15 years for a string of child sex crimes today saw his "excessive" sentence slashed on appeal by top judges.
Robin Maughan (35) of Western Avenue, Market Harborough, admitted 21 offences, including indulging in sex acts with teenage children.
The entertainer, who worked as a tribute act to Four Seasons singer Frankie Valli and sang at Market Harborough's Christmas lights switch on in front of 3,000 people, was jailed for 14 years and 10 months.
