Frank Lampard to leave New York City at the end of the year with former Chelsea and England midfielder to announce his next move 'very soon'

Frank Lampard will leave New York City when his contract expires at the end of this year, opening the door for one last season in English football.
The former Chelsea man joined the MLS side in 2014 and has gone on to make 31 appearances for the club, scoring 15 goals. 
Lampard, now 38, has previously made it clear he could carry on playing for one more year though retirement is also an option open to him. Lampard is set to make a further announcement on his next step in the near future.
