Fourth honorary degree for Nottingham chef Sat Bains after 30 years in the kitchen

He's spent the last 30 years working in restaurants but that hasn't stopped Nottingham chef Sat Bains earning his fourth honorary degree.
The Michelin star chef was overwhelmed to be receiving his fourth degree - to become a Doctor of Laws - from at the University of Nottingham today (Monday, July 17).
Mr Bains, whose restaurant, Restaurant Sat Bains with Rooms, was named one of the top 100 in the world by lifestyle magazine Elite Traveler, said he still felt as excited as the first time he received an honorary degree.
