Forth Road Bridge fully reopens ahead of schedule after lorry crash
 

The Forth Road Bridge has reopened ahead of schedule following a lorry crash that had threatened to cause misery for commuters for several days.
The bridge suffered structural damage when a lorry overturned during high winds this morning and was closed to all traffic for hours fter the early-morning incident.
Earlier this evening, rush-hour commuters had to find other routes home as work went on to remove the HGV.
With the repairs expected to take several days, commuters will now be breathing a sigh of relief.
