Former Merseyside doctor guilty of sexually assaulting patient
 

A former Merseyside doctor was today convicted of indecently assaulting a woman patient.
Dr Stephen Crosby, who was struck off the medical register after being convicted in 2004 of indecently assaulting seven other women patients, is to be sentenced on Tuesday.
Relatives and supporters of Crosby, 63, burst into tears in the public gallery at Liverpool Crown Court when the jury returned its unanimous verdict.
Crosby, of Wrigleys Close, Formby , denied molesting the woman in February 2000 and the court heard that he still maintains he did not molest the seven other women either.
