Former Leeds United star Luciano Becchio flies back home midway through Coventry City trial spell
 

Former Leeds United striker Luciano Becchio has cut short his trial with Coventry City and returned to his home in Majorca.
Sky Blues boss Tony Mowbray had been running the rule over the 32-year-old centre-forward who is available to sign for clubs because he’s currently unattached, but any deal is now “finished.”
Mowbray – who said last week that he’d continue to assess the Argentinean and make a decision at the end of this week – has revealed that the player has returned to Spain believing, because of an injury, he wouldn’t be able to do himself justice.
