Former Hull City striker facing bankruptcy after racking up £150k debts



FORMER Hull City, Bradford, Middlesbrough and, briefly, Barton Town striker Dean Windass is facing bankruptcy after acquiring debts of more than £150,000.
Windass also applied to replace Brian Laws as the manager of Scunthorpe United in 2013.
Tax officials say the football star owes more than £150,000 after a specialist judge oversaw a preliminary Bankruptcy Court hearing for Windass in London on Monday.
Windass, 47, was not at the hearing but was represented by barrister Sri Carmichael.
