Former Derby County boss Steve McClaren defends Allardyce as Hasselbaink enters storm
 

Former Derby County boss Steve McClaren has spoken out in defence of ex-England chief Sam Allardyce – as former Burton manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has denied claims by the paper that broke the Allardyce story.
The England coach has quit after he was caught on camera in a newspaper sting offering advice on how to get around Football Association transfer rules to undercover reporters, who were posing as Far East businessmen.
