A former charity worker bit his ex-girlfriend on the cheek ‘like a dog’ in what he later claimed in court was a ‘romantic gesture’.
Thug Kieran Gillan attacked his ex-partner in her bedsit in Jarrow, South Tyneside, after she pushed him away when he tried to kiss her.
A court heard the 19-year-old flipped and grabbed her head before pushing it against a wall and sinking his teeth into her cheek.
The victim described Gillan using his mouth and teeth to ‘latch on to her cheek like a dog’ before a neighbour heard the commotion and went to her aid.
