Former Celtic manager Martin O'Neill is ruining James McCarthy in Republic of Ireland camp says Ronald Koeman



EVERTON boss Ronald Koeman is furious with Republic of Ireland boss Martin O’Neill over his treatment of James McCarthy.
Koeman accused O’Neill and his staff of “killing the player” after midfielder McCarthy returned to Goodison having played nearly two full games in the international break after only just returning from surgery.
McCarthy was out for six weeks after groin surgery and had only taken part in three training sessions when he played all but 10 minutes of two World Cup qualifiers for Ireland.
