Former Celtic and Scotland star Jackie McNamara convicted of fare dodging
FORMER Dundee United manager and Celtic legend Jackie McNamara has been convicted of fare-dodging after failing to pay for a rail journey.
The 42-year-old manager of York City, has been ordered to pay nearly £500 in a fine and other court costs after not coughing up the £86 for the journey between York and his Edinburgh home.
McNamara, who splits his time between the Scottish capital and York, where he is the manager of the Conference Premier side, made the journey on April 11.
