Footie manager vaults fence to beat police lockdown at 'gangster incident' to make it to match on time
 

A FOOTBALL manager has revealed how he escaped a police lockdown – so he could make his team’s big match.
East Kilbride FC boss Martin Lauchlan was with his wife Kate and two young children at SoccerWorld in Ruchazie, Glasgow, on Saturday morning when reports of a man carrying a firearm caused panic.
Customers were forced to stay indoors as police raced to the scene, where a BMW 4x4, reportedly driven by a notorious gangster, had crashed into a car at the entrance to the complex, leaving one man in hospital.
