Footballer who missed Scottish Cup tie because he was 'on holiday' pleads guilty to stalking his ex
 

A FOOTBALLER has admitted stalking an ex-girlfriend and posting threatening messages on her employer’s Twitter account.
Stewart Devine, who once played for Stirling Albion against Celtic in a ​Scottish Cup tie at Parkhead, will be sentenced later this month.
The Record understands Devine, 32, contacted the woman’s employers, Easyjet, via Twitter and posted messages of a “threatening and personal nature”.
Devine, who now plays as a defender for amateur side Bo’ness United, also tried to make contact with her friends.
