Fly-tipper slammed after rubbish dumped in Radford
 

Anyone thinking of dumping rubbish in the streets has been reminded that they can call the council instead to come and pick it up for free.
The reminder about the bulky waste collection service came after rubbish was dumped in Lismore Close in Radford, near the junction with Bramcote Street.
A bed, mattress, drawers, sofa cushions and an empty TV box were among the items abandoned in the street.
City council chiefs have now said that the rubbish has been removed, after it was flagged up by a resident, and warned that fly-tippers face tough penalties.
