Feeling positive on the day of your flu jab could make it 14 per cent more effective, it’s been revealed.
The findings could help to better protect those with a weakened immune system, including the elderly.
Last year, the flu jab had zero effectiveness on over-65s, it was claimed.
The NHS is more “scared” than ever before about the winter battle with flu, according to NHS England’s Chairman, Sir Malcolm Grant.
