Flood warning issued for Barrow, Walney, Ulverston and Millom



A flood warning is in force for the high tide today, with tidal spray and onshore flooding likely to occur.
Some roads and properties are likely to be affected and people are warned to stay away from the coast.
Environment Agency officers are on the ground ensuring defences are in good working order, monitoring sea levels and wind directions. The tide is forecast to peak between 11.45pm tonight and 00.30am tomorrow morning.
