Flights cancelled at East Midlands Airport due to Belfast disruption
 

Two flights at East Midlands Airport have so far been cancelled due to disruption at Belfast International Airport after a cargo plane got stuck on the runway.
An inbound flight from Belfast, operated by Flybe, which had been due to touch down at the Castle Donington airport at 11am was cancelled this morning. The corresponding 11.45am outbound flight to Belfast has also been cancelled. Belfast Airport shut and all flights suspended at around 6am this morning after the freight plane got stuck on the runway after landing with a number of burst tyres.
