Flags to fly above Town Hall after council approves plans
 

FLAGS will be flying above the town hall after proposals by Warwick District Council were given the green light.
There was outrage earlier this year when the council turned down a request to fly the rainbow flag above Leamington Town Hall on the day of Warwickshire Pride.
But the authority did a U-turn on their decision after a petition was launched and organisers of the annual lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) festival said they were being discriminated against, which council leader Andrew Mobbs denied.
