Five-month-old girl with rare condition becomes Britain's youngest double lung transplant patient
 

A brave five-month-old girl has become Britain's youngest double lung transplant patient after she was diagnosed with a rare condition.
Imogen Bolton received her new lungs after doctors found she had Alveolar Capillary Dysplasia (ACD).
The condition meant that her lungs were not properly formed, and while weighing just 4.5kg, she underwent a seven-hour operation earlier this year at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Experts believe she may be the youngest child in Europe to have ever had the surgery.
