Five arrests after stabbings during 'mass brawl' in St Helens



Five people were arrested after an incident in which two teenagers were stabbed in St Helens.
It is believed a group were involved in what was described by one eyewitness as a “mass brawl” yesterday afternoon.
An 18-year-old man received a stab wound to the side of his head, while a 16-year-old youth was stabbed under his arm.
They were treated in hospital following the incident and have since been discharged.
Police today confirmed two 16-year-old males from Huyton, a 16-year-old male from Widnes, and two 18-year-old men from St Helens remained in custody after being arrested on suspicion... read more
