Fishing boat skipper blasts Faslane submarines for playing 'Russian roulette' with trawlermen's lives
 

A FISHING boat skipper whose boat was nearly sank by a Faslane-based nuclear submarine has blasted the Royal Navy and claimed they are playing "Russian roulette" with trawlermen's lives.
Paul Murphy hit out in the wake of a Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) report that slammed the Navy for almost killing the crew of the Karen in April last year.
MAIB inspectors found that a nuclear submarine endangered the lives of Murphy and his crew when they towed their fishing trawler at speed through the Irish Sea, 15 miles off the coast of Ardglass, Northern Ireland.
