STEPHANE Sessegnon has pledged to fire resurgent ­Sunderland to Premier League safety at Villa Park tonight.
The talented Benin international has discovered his goal touch under Paolo Di Canio with the openers in the Black Cats' wins over ­Newcastle and Everton.
And the player, nicknamed “Messi” by team-mates because of his dribbling skills, reckons his hot streak can continue against Villa.
Sessegnon failed to find the net in his opening 13 games this term and has just seven for the season.
