Firefighters tackle large rubbish fire at farm



FIVE tonnes of rubbish caught fire at a farm in North Killingholme.
A fire crew from Immingham East station attended and spent an hour and a half tackling the blaze which spread to a farm trailer.
Firefighters were called to Clarke’s Road, North Killingholme shortly after 9.30am.
The used two hose reels and hay drags to put out the fire and dampen down and left at 11.15am.
A spokesman for Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said the fire in the pile of construction material had been caused accidentally.
