Firefighters rescue man and two women from ferocious house fire in Rotherham
 

0 Have your say A man and two women were rescued from a ferocious house blaze by firefighters in South Yorkshire this morning. Emergency services were alerted to the fire in Moor Road, Wath-upon-Dearne, at 3.30am and found the ground floor of the property well alight and the first floor smoke-logged.
They led a woman from the ground floor to safety and rescued a man and woman through a window after climbing up a ladder to reach them.
All three casualties, who suffered smoke inhalation, were taken to hospital by ambulance.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze is underway.
