Firefighters deal with blaze at house 'struck by lightning'



Firefighters are dealing with a blaze at a house which eyewitnesses say was struck by lightning.
Crews from Cheadle, Stone, Hanley and Loggerheads were sent to the scene in Chatcull Lane, Stafford at 1.30pm.
The house was well-alight on their arrival and the firefighters are still tackling part of the fire in the roof.
A Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "We were called to Chatcull Lane at 1.31pm. The caller reported a house had caught fire after it was struck by lightning.
