Firefighters called to rescue person who fell in River Witham



Emergency services were called after a person fell into the River Witham in Boston.
They received the reports at about 8.30pm after witnesses watched the event in horror.
Police, ambulance and rescue boat rushed to the scene.

But the person had a lucky escape as they managed to climb out of the river to safety.
Police said the person suffered no injuries and needed no medical attention.
