Fire shuts Barmouth Bridge until next week

Barmouth Bridge will be closed until next week following a blaze.
Fire crews were called to the iconic 19th century viaduct shortly after 6am on Tuesday.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service sent one crew from Barmouth who used a dry powder extinguisher to tackle the fire.
The bridge is now closed to trains and will be shut until October 10, but the pedestrian walkway remains open.
The line between Tywyn and Barmouth has been closed by Network Rail and Arriva Trains Wales have organised a bus replacement service.
