Fire leads to evacuation of Center Parcs pool complex
 

The subtropical swimming paradise at Center Parcs near Ollerton had to be evacuated after a fire broke out in the basement.
Nottinghmshire Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the holiday village at 5.03pm on July 31 to reports of a fire and two crews were sent to the park in Sherwood Forest.
The fire was inside a motor in the basement and the crews had extinguished the blaze by 5.34pm.
A spokesman from Edwinstowe Fire Station, who attended the blaze, said: "The fire in the motor went out once we cut the power so we inspected the area and they will not be using that motor anymore.... read more
