Fire-hit Barmouth bridge renovations 'urgent' says MP
 

Work to renovate a 19th-century bridge should be fast-tracked in the wake of a fire which has closed it until next week, says a local MP.
Barmouth brdige will be shut to trains after a blaze in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Liz Saville Roberts MP now wants those who were planning the renovation of the bridge before the fire to “come together as a matter of urgency”.
Network Rail have announced that the fire, which is not thought to be suspicious, means a bus replacement service is required between Barmouth and Tywyn.
