Fire crews tackle tumble dryer blaze



Firefighters have extinguished a tumble dryer blaze in the garage of a house in Bolton-by-Bowland.
Two fire engines from Clitheroe and Hyndburn were called out to the fire in Barratt Hill Brow at 1-25pm this afternoon.
The fire, which was in the property's detached garage, was well alight when firefighters arrived at the scene.
The crews used two breathing apparatus sets and two hose reels to put out the fire. There were no injuries reported and the cause is now under investigation.
