Fines of up to £70 to be issued in Tesco crackdown on parking in disabled and parent & child spaces



TESCO is to launch a crackdown on motorists parking in parent and child or disabled bays who are not entitled to do so.
Shoppers face £70 fines if they park in spaces which are supposed to be used by the disabled or parents with young children in a scheme which has been trialled at 81 of Tesco's stores.
According to the Daily Mail, the scheme, which sees Tesco staff use a special smartphone app to record evidence, is set to be rolled out to a further 200 stores in the coming weeks.
