Fidel Castro death: Cuban dissidents call off weekly march
 

Cuba's most prominent dissident group has called off its traditional protest for the first time in 13 years following the death of the country's revolutionary leader Fidel Castro.
The Ladies in White, founded by wives of jailed dissidents, have defied a protest ban on the Communist island by marching every week.
They say the decision aims to avoid creating tensions.
The government announced nine days of mourning. Castro died on Friday at 90.
