Fewer vacant shops in Leicester than Derby or Nottingham, says report



The number of vacant shops in Leicester has dropped, according to a report.
The Local Data Company has found that the per cent of vacant premises in Leicester fell from 16.7 per cent in the first six months of 2015 to 16.1 per cent in the first six months of this year.
In addition, Leicester has a smaller percentage of empty shops than that of its East Midlands counterparts.
In Derby, the percentage of vacant shops in the first six months of 2016 was 17.2 per cent, while in Nottingham, the percentage of vacant shops was 16.2 per cent.
