Family of tragic Katie Rough to run Great North Run in her memory



The family of a tragic seven-year-old girl who was killed by a teenager are running the Great North Run in her memory.
Katie Rough died in January after being found on a field close to her home in York with knife wounds to her neck and chest in a killing which shocked the nation.
A post-mortem examination showed Katie had two severe cuts to her body but neither caused her death and she had been smothered before the cuts were made.
