Failed asylum seeker threatens to kill himself unless he is allowed to stay
 

The 21-year-old clambered to the roof of a school in Döbeln on the day he received his letter telling him his claim for asylum had been turned down.
The distraught young man - at the Eckert School in the town studying to become a carpenter for a job making sets for the opera in Leipzig - has been in Germany for a year.
His teachers said that he was talented and his German fluent enough for him to act as a translator with other Iraqis.
