Sam Allardyce 'let down' the Football Association with the actions which resulted in the unceremonious end to his brief reign as England manager, according to the governing body's chairman.
Allardyce and the FA parted company last month following revelations in the Daily Telegraph, whose undercover reporters captured the 61-year-old giving advice on how to circumvent third-party player ownership rules.
