Extra police drafted in and women warned to be vigilant after two rapes in city centre in two weeks



Extra police patrols have been drafted into Manchester city centre after TWO rapes in TWO weeks.
In the latest attack the victim was assaulted in Wood Street, a quiet side street by John Rylands Library.
The woman, aged 24, ran off seeking help across Deansgate, and was discovered in Bootle Street.

The victim was attacked just before midnight on Sunday evening.
On September 21st an 18-year-old woman was raped on Major Street close to Minshull Street Crown Court.
