Explained: Why Aston Villa youngster was in claret and blue



Easah Suliman was the stand-out performer for Aston Villa’s U23s as they saw off high-flying West Ham with a comfortable 2-0 success.
The 18-year-old defender wasn’t even expected to be in the line-up as he’s currently on loan to League Two side Cheltenham Town.
However, the Birmingham Mail understands that Suliman, a classy ball-playing centre-half, has struck an agreement with his temporary club that allows him to return and play for the U23s on certain occasions.
