Executive Force extends William Haggas' fruitful run with Maiden Stakes victory at Newbury

The son of Australian sire Sepoy ripped through the sludge to win by an ever-increasing two and a half lengths from Dark Power in the second division of the Thatcham Butchers’ Maiden Stakes.
Executive Force was backed down to 2-1 favourite and left a beaming rider Pat Cosgrave to smile and declare: “Nice horse!”
Haggas’s wife Maureen said: “He’s going to be nice next year. He’ll maybe have one more run.”
