Ex Tesco security guard is protesting on the roof after ‘being sacked for no reason’
 

A security guard who was allegedly sacked from Tesco is currently sat on the roof of the store.
The man, who has been on the girders about the checkouts for more than 14 hours, reportedly has ‘no plans to come down’.
He claims he was ‘sacked for no reason’.
Shoppers were told to leave their trolleys and evacuate the store after the guard was spotted on the ceiling at around 6pm in Reading.
Tesco said it is ‘assisting police with the matter’.
The wife of the security guard is also on the scene – waiting outside the Portman Road supermarket supporting him.
