Ex-Spurs star Ryan Mason, 26, retires from football after fracturing skull
 

Ryan Mason has been forced to retire from professional football after failing to recover from a fractured skull sustained in 2017.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and England midfielder has not played since a freak collision with Gary Cahill during a Premier League match between Hull and Chelsea in January of that year.
And he has now officially retired after being advised by medical professionals to not return to the sport, Hull City confirmed.
