Ex-England striker John Barnes makes guest appearance at charity dinner in Grimsby



EX-ENGLAND and Liverpool striker John Barnes said guest speaking at a charity dinner to raise money for good causes in Grimsby brought back "memories of my playing days".
The iconic English footballing hero was at the centre of attention at the 19th annual Artie White Foundation Sports Dinner, held at The Humber Royal this evening, and said that returning to Grimsby reminded him of his days playing under boss Graham Taylor for Watford FC in the 1980s.
