Everton FC keeper criticised for error in Dutch defeat to France



Maarten Stekelenburg had been showing the form which made him first choice in a Dutch team that reached the World Cup final in 2010 but doubts have now started to creep about the Everton goalkeeper.
The Blues keeper's rehabilitation appeared to be complete last week when he was recalled to the Holland team and started for his country for the first time in four years in a World Cup qualifier against Belarus.
That game went reasonably well for him as the Dutch won 4-1 but the visit of Euro 2016 finalists France in Amsterdam last night didn't go according to plan report the Liverpool Echo.... read more
