EUROPEAN UNION IN TURMOIL: Bulgarian PM urged to RESIGN after UN secretary general failure
 

Boyko Borisov, head of the European Union member state, was attacked by three opposition in the country’s parliament but insisted he would not resign.
The row – which is the latest in a series of tumultuous incidents in the Brussels bloc – emerged after former UNESCO head Irina Bokova and European Commissioner Kristalina Georgieva failed to get the job of UN secretary general.
