England v South Africa: Tom Westley backs Alastair Cook to drag team to pole position
 

Cook finished unbeaten on 82 as England struggled to 171-4 against South Africa on a difficult day for batting.
But while Westley is new to Test cricket he says he has seen Cook dig Essex out of holes so many times and has total faith in England’s former skipper.
He said: “Cookie being Cookie, he fought through it - and it’s one of his best qualities.
“He works hard for his runs. He’s determined - and thankfully that showed through. He’s got a brilliant 80 and we hope he can push on.”
