England set to win battle to name New Zealand-born Brad Shields in touring party to South Africa



England are set to win the tug of war with New Zealand for Wasps-bound forward Brad Shields.
Sportsmail understands that Eddie Jones will be permitted to pick the flanker for his touring party to South Africa if he chooses - despite the Kiwis digging in their heels over his release.
Steve Tew, the chief executive of New Zealand Rugby (NZR), believed that they have legal authority to block Shields from playing for England in June.
