England interim manager Gareth Southgate insists: 'I love football... but not the industry' as he refuses to discuss Sam Allardyce's sacking

England interim manager Gareth Southgate has admitted he dislikes football as an 'industry' in the wake of Sam Allardyce's embarrassing sacking.
The 46-year-old, more familiar with the England Under 21 side, has stepped up to take charge of the seniors and named his first squad on Sunday evening.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday morning, Southgate would not be drawn on the circumstances of his predecessor's departure.
