England cricket set for first day-night Test in the UK next year in preparation for Ashes
 

The ECB announced that the 1st Investec Test against West Indies from August 17-21, 2017 will be the ground-breaker with the hours of play set to be from 2pm to 9pm.
It will ensure that should Australia, as anticipated, choose to make one of the following winter’s Ashes Test a day-nighter, England’s batsmen will not be caught cold.
ECB chief executive Tom Harrison labelled the development “a great opportunity” to attract new fans to the game.
